Chester House Apartments is probably Nairobi’s best kept hotel secret. It’s cheap, perfectly located, has free wi-fi, balconies in every room and the best staff this side of….actually just the best staff. The problem is that hardly anyone knows about them. Our goal is to change that.

We started with a website and a two day photoshoot. We wanted to show Chester House in all its glory, from the Penthouse with its incredible views over the city to the studio room with its magnificent balcony, we knew that the world didn’t quite know what it was missing. We added a section on service and location and came up with a clean, responsive and easy to use online booking system to complement the photography. Once we were done there — and traffic went up by about 50% so we think people liked it — we moved to Facebook where we created a Fan Gate for people who have liked the page and rewarded them with a 10% off coupon for their troubles.

Then we tracked down one of Nairobi’s budding young photographers, Mutua Matheka, and started a weekly campaigns about what we love about Kenya accompanied by Mutua’s amazing photography.

We are still working the Chester House case having recently started a Google and Facebook Ad campaign. We will keep you updated.
